Nina is a student at Naniwa World's No. 1 Academy in Osaka. She first appears in Episode 161 after running into Luminas during their Japan tour.
Originally from Tokyo, she relocated to Osaka fairly recently—which is why she still speaks with a Tokyo accent despite living there now. As a kid, Nina was pretty serious about school and rarely smiled. That all changed once she got into comedy and idols. She'd spent years planning to go to Starlight Academy, but eventually realized her real dream was to make people laugh through idol work. That's when she decided Osaka was the right move. These days she's constantly practicing, laser-focused on getting as many laughs as she possibly can.
