Amber grew up on an alpaca farm in Brodia and helped raise them with his family. Inspired by the fables and legends of Elyos, Amber dreamed of becoming a legendary hero and so he pursed a goal of becoming a knight of Brodia. His hard work eventually paid off, as he placed only second to Jade in the battle tournament and, at Diamant's request, became his retainer.
