Sorawo Kamikoshi is a shy, socially withdrawn university student who's genuinely into exploring abandoned ruins. She knows her way around urban legends and is pretty vocal about hating what she dismisses as "fake rumors"—she's all about the real stuff, firsthand accounts from actual witnesses to paranormal events.
She stumbled onto the Otherside by accident and figured it'd make a perfect private hideaway, until she ran into Toriko. From that point on, they've been exploring it together, digging up its secrets and selling whatever artifacts they find to Kozakura for research purposes. After a run-in with a Kunekune that went badly, Sorawo's right eye turned permanently blue and picked up an ability to see the "core" of Otherside creatures. She usually wears a brown contact lens to keep it under wraps since, you know, a freaky blue eye tends to get questions.
Fans often note that she's got a weak spot when it comes to illusion-based spirits—they can pretty easily put her in some kind of trance, and she usually needs Toriko to pull her back out of it.
