Arashi enters the series as an inexperienced Zoid pilot who pilots the formidable Wild Liger—though he's significantly outclassed by his peers, most of whom command far superior machines. Early on, Bacon takes him under his wing, and Arashi improves rapidly. His bond with the Liger strengthens remarkably fast, letting him pull off Wild Blast attacks with ease.
Eventually his growth stalls. He's competent enough with his signature "King of the Claw" technique to hold his own, but still takes losses against heavy hitters like Drake and Gallagher. At one point during a particularly brutal fight, he spirals into an uncontrollable Berserk mode—devastating in raw power but equally dangerous to his own teammates.
The real turning point comes when he trains under Bacon's former master. That's when things click. He learns the "King of Claw Spiral" attack and finally catches up to the upper tier, fighting at a level consistent with the Four Heavenly Kings and even Gallagher.
