Rui grew up alongside Nene and has done his fair share of stage work. He's really into tinkering with inventions and loves showing off whatever he's built to Tsukasa. His most famous creation is probably RoboNene—basically a robot that looks like Nene crossed with a Miku Megurine figure—which he designed to help out during stage performances.
Middle school was rough for him, honestly. He got treated like an outcast because people thought he was too smart, which is kind of ironic given how useful his intelligence turns out to be later. The bright spot in that era was meeting Mizuki Akiyama, who actually stuck by him when most others didn't.
