Beidou is the captain of the Crux, one of Liyue's most notorious fleets, and her reputation precedes her. Sailors swear she can split mountains and summon lightning through her claymore. Sea beasts that would terrify normal crews? They don't stand a chance against her—anyone who's actually sailed with her will tell you that without hesitation.
What makes her stand out beyond raw strength is her fearlessness around Ningguang, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing. While most people tread carefully around someone with that much power, Beidou doesn't flinch. Ningguang finds it irritating, sure, but she respects it.
Visually, Beidou has a commanding presence. Her dark hair is pinned up with an ornate gold hairpin and pale blue tassel, with her fringe parted to frame her right eye. She wears a striking red sleeveless qipao with high side slits and a cutout chest, layered under a fur-lined red shawl. Black fingerless gloves extend up to her elbows, and her Electro Vision hangs from her left hip. It all comes together as exactly what you'd expect from someone who owns the seas.
