Sailor Lead Crow is the third Animamate to show up. She goes by Akane Karasuma when undercover—a name built from the Japanese words for a shade of red and "crow." (Tokyopop called her Red Crow in their manga translation.)
In the manga, Lead Crow first appears in Act 45 at Rei's temple, where she confronts Phobos and Deimos, who are actually protecting Rei in her role as the Princess of Mars. Lead Crow uses Galactica Tornado to steal their starseeds, but Sailor Moon destroys her with the Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss. After her defeat, Galaxia shows up and takes the Sailor Crystals from Venus and Mars. It turns out Lead Crow killed the Sailor Senshi of her own planet, Sailor Coronis. Beyond Galactica Tornado, she can manipulate rot and is noted for being a sadist.
The anime version is pretty different. Lead Crow appears in Episode 182 as partners with Aluminum Siren—though she's supposedly the leader of the Animamates, she calls Siren her "greatest rival." That said, she genuinely cares about her, and Siren's death really gets to her. She keeps thinking about what happened and tries to continue their mission. She can't stand Tin Nyanko, but circumstances force them to team up anyway. That partnership ends badly for Lead Crow when Tin Nyanko sabotages one of her own traps, and Lead Crow ends up killed by it.
