Rui Akikaze is a first-year in the Performance Department at Rinmeikan Girls School and a character exclusive to Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Re:LIVE.
Rui got into acting after watching Tamao Tomoe perform back in junior high—she was completely blown away and decided that was what she wanted to do. Tamao's been training her since then, and with that support, Rui's managed to work through a lot of her stage fright and anxiety about high-pressure situations. She looks up to Tamao pretty heavily, both as a mentor and as the person who basically made her realize what she actually wanted to pursue.
