Blade
Blade—known as the "Gun Hero"—is one of the fake heroes and Keyarga's most brutal tormentors. He's basically the last of them standing.
About two decades ago, Blade was chosen as the Cannon Hero and quickly became famous throughout the Jioral Kingdom, establishing a mutually beneficial arrangement with the king. He earned a reputation as the "strongest hero" thanks to his devastating firepower, but he kept his status deliberately low-key. Publicly, he worked as a priest running an orphanage—a cover that let him pursue his real interest: collecting young boys. Jioral was appealing to him partly because he could indulge this hobby more openly there than elsewhere. Despite his public standing, Blade was paranoid and never fully trusted the king or the kingdom's institutions, so he built his own intelligence network to stay ahead of both.
Around five years before the story begins, he met and befriended a young Kureha, the daughter of his associate Albert.
Powers and Abilities
Level Cap Break: As a hero, Blade can level up indefinitely without hitting a cap. Male heroes also have the ability to boost the level caps of others.
Increased EXP Gain: Blade and anyone in his party earn double experience points. When multiple heroes party together, this benefit stacks multiplicatively.
