He's best known as Scaramouche, the Sixth Fatui Harbinger who went by "The Balladeer"—though he's had plenty of other names depending on who you ask. After wiping his own memories from Irminsul, he spent time as a nameless drifter before choosing to remember who he was. Now he's studying at the Vahumana Darshan, trying to figure out what comes next.
There's something deliberately tragic about his character: if humanity is defined by having a heart, he clearly doesn't qualify. Yet somehow, a puppet without one can still feel joy and pain, which makes him more human than the philosophy would allow.
Visually, he's unmistakably Japanese-inspired. He wears a wide navy kasa hat with lotus-like details on top and cyan fabric strips hanging from the back, decorated with ornaments that echo temple staff finials. Under that sits a tight black turtleneck with long detached sleeves and a golden centerpiece, layered under a flowing white kimono with cyan-dyed furisode sleeves and an inner cyan tunic. Black fingerless metallic gloves wrapped like bandages complete the upper half.
Below, he's got black hakama shorts held up by a thick black and indigo obi belt—the front features a large black bow with indigo tassels that fade toward the ends. White knee-high gaiters sit over black toeless socks, with black geta sandals secured by indigo rope and a gold ornament with a single tassel. A patterned blue half-cape drapes off his left shoulder, pinned with his Anemo Vision in a gold setting and a matching gold feather accent.
