Komaki Jindai
Grade: Second-year student at Eisui Girls' High School (Kagoshima Prefecture)
Komaki is a supporting character in Saki, best known as one of the shrine maiden players on Eisui's mahjong team. She comes from the primary branch family of their shrine maiden lineage, which is why her teammates affectionately call her "Princess."
Before the main story kicks off, Komaki had already made a name for herself as one of the rising stars at nationals—part of that wave of new monsters everyone was talking about. But she burned herself out pushing too hard, which sets up a lot of her character arc moving forward.
