Itachi Uchiha is one of Naruto's most compelling characters—a missing-nin from the Leaf Village and a key member of Akatsuki, where he partners with Kisame. He's also Sasuke's older brother, a fact that defines much of the series' emotional core. Born into the prestigious Uchiha clan, Itachi was a prodigy by any measure. What's striking about Itachi is how utterly composed he is. As an Akatsuki member, he maintains almost perfect emotional control, rarely showing surprise even when faced with stronger opponents. He's not arrogant—he respects capable fighters and doesn't exaggerate his own strength. Intelligence paired with that emotional discipline made him nearly impossible to catch off guard or deceive. Physically, Itachi isn't as intimidating as you'd expect for someone so dangerous. As an Akatsuki member, he adopted the organization's signature cloak, revealing his old clothes underneath once it was destroyed during his fight with Sasuke.
Itachi's abilities are where he truly stands out. His genius manifested early and consistently—teachers noted he barely needed instruction. He's ranked among the series' strongest fighters, capable of taking down heavy hitters like Deidara, Orochimaru (twice), Kakashi, and Kurenai without much difficulty.
