Desparaia runs the Nightmare Corporation and serves as the series' primary antagonist. Her whole scheme hinges on acquiring the Dream Collet, a magical artifact capable of granting wishes—which she plans to use to secure eternal life and beauty, ultimately so she can plunge the world into destruction and despair. She's rarely seen without her mask and has a tendency to delegate; she doesn't actually get her hands dirty until the final confrontation. Throughout the series, she stays in the shadows, commanding her subordinates to do the heavy lifting while she waits for them to bring her the Collet.
