Mukade was a Jōnin from Sunagakure who eventually defected and fell into service under Sasori, an Akatsuki member. The Akatsuki had big plans for him—they used him as a sacrifice, transforming him into a Kisame Hoshigaki clone as a stalling tactic while they worked on extracting Shukaku from Gaara. It didn't last long. Might Guy took out the clone (and Mukade along with it) using his Morning Peacock technique.
