Byakko is a large tiger demon and the second of the Four Beasts. His main ability lets him absorb reiki and channel it to boost his own strength in battle.
He fights Kuwabara twice. Their first match happens on the castle battlements, where Kuwabara manages to beat him by forcing way too much reiki into Byakko's body—basically overwhelming him from the inside out. They clash again later in Byakko's own lair, and this time he takes a fall into lava that seems to kill him for good.
Except he doesn't stay dead. He shows up one last time desperately asking Seiryu (the third Saint Beast) for help, which. doesn't go well. Seiryu freezes him solid and shatters him into ice shards. Not the most dignified way to go.
He's ranked as a Lower C class demon.
