Kenny Ackerman was a captain in the Military Police Brigade's First Interior Squad and served in the anti-Personnel Control Squad. He's best known—or rather, infamous—for being a serial killer who operated in the Capitol decades before the main story, earning the nickname "Kenny the Ripper" for his signature method of slitting victims' throats. He allegedly killed over a hundred Military Police members, though by the time the narrative begins, his murders have long stopped and he's faded into urban legend.
Before settling into the Military Police, Kenny trained a young Levi, though the two eventually parted ways. He later joined the First Interior Squad after catching the attention of Rod's brother, who took him under his wing. Among his confirmed crimes was the murder of Historia's mother, Alma.
