Bellri Zenam is a Capital Guard cadet whose natural talent fast-tracked him through the academy—he even scored a double promotion. He's best known for being one of only three pilots capable of operating the G-Self, a fact that becomes central to the conflict around him.
He's pretty much the type to fall hard and fast. When he meets Aida, it's instant attraction, and that connection ends up pulling him into something way bigger than academy life. He abandons his post to join the pirates in their fight against the Capital Army, which probably seemed like the right call at the time but definitely complicated things. His defection and piloting skills make him a key player in what turns into a much larger struggle.
