Akaya Kirihara
A former standout of Rikkai's tennis program and one of the Japan U-17 "Genius 10"—basically the country's ten best young players. He's known for his intense, aggressive style of play, though he's also gotten a reputation for losing his temper on court.
The thing is, Akaya didn't exactly leave on the best terms with his old teammates. He's got some serious beef with Seiichi Yukimura, Genichirou Sanada, and Renji Yanagi, which is pretty dramatic considering they were all part of the same team. Whatever went down between them, it clearly left things pretty cold.
