Viki is a teleportation mage who carries one of the rare Blinking Runes. Her origins remain a mystery, though she occasionally mumbles "Waffu." in her sleep—apparently the name of wherever she's from. She's been trying to get back there for ages without success, and her terrible luck with teleportation has landed her jumping through time as much as space. She's ended up fighting in several major wars across centuries, but never ages between them since she's always warping to different points in history by accident.
Her powers are wildly unpredictable. When she ran into Nash in a Harmonia forest, she accidentally teleported both of them to some weird pocket dimension where they met another Viki—an older, far more composed version of herself. This other Viki gave them directions out and cryptically told Nash, "it's better to not know that." when he asked if she was the same person.
The time-jumping teleportation thing causes real problems. Lorelai first encountered Viki in the Twilight Forest during events in Falena, but later during the Sun Rune War, Viki had no idea who she was. Lorelai couldn't figure out why—she didn't realize that her first meeting with Viki had actually happened years in the future, so from Viki's perspective at that time, they'd never met before.
