Ergnach is best known as Koinzell's closest friend and the first of the fourteen Lances to fall. He cast a massive spell that split the world in two with a wall—dubbed "Heaven's Lance"—but the magic came with a brutal cost: it turned him to stone. Koinzell eventually destroyed the wall, though not before finally making peace with his petrified friend.
