Satsuki is Kozakura's friend and works as Toriko's mentor and private tutor. She and Toriko explored the Otherside together multiple times before Satsuki vanished during a solo trip—no one's heard from her since. The disappearance haunts Toriko, who's made her own trips back to the Otherside repeatedly, sometimes with Sorawo in tow, trying to find any trace of what happened to her.
Toriko remembers her as tall with long black hair, glasses, and an unsettling intensity in her gaze. There's also something unexpected the girls later learn: Akari was actually one of Satsuki's students too, even though no one ever clued her in about the Otherside's existence.
