Charlotta is the captain of the Holy Knights and one of the guild's most capable fighters—which makes her ongoing battle with her own insecurity all the more relatable. She's generally composed and level-headed, but bring up her height and watch her temper flare instantly. The irony isn't lost on anyone: she's clawed her way to leadership after the Holy Knights saved her life, worked herself ragged to earn the position, and yet she can't stop obsessing over being, well, very short.
That obsession runs deep. Despite her pride in the captain's role, Charlotta's convinced her small stature undermines her dignity. At one point she actually left the knights quietly, determined to find anything that might help her grow taller. Her hobbies basically revolve around training—not just as a warrior, but presumably in hopes that might somehow solve her height problem too.
