Siluca Meletes is the series' main female lead. She's a talented young mage with serious magical potential who genuinely wants to end the constant fighting between feudal lords—basically the idealistic heart of the story. She's also the one who tracks down Theo first, setting the whole plot in motion. Her familiar is pretty cool too: a cat that's actually the king of the cat kingdom and can move through shadows, which comes in handy more than once.
