Nonou Yakushi was a jounin and captain of Konoha's Medic Corps, though she's best remembered for what came after. Known as "The Wandering Miko," she spent her latter years running an orphanage on the village's outskirts, where residents called her "Mother." Before that, she'd been part of Root's Anbu division, but eventually left to dedicate herself to caring for kids—including two she adopted: Urushi and Kabuto Yakushi. During an undercover assignment in Iwagakure, she went by the alias Nanigashi.
