As a first-class Onmyouji, he's legitimately one of the strongest of the twelve, though you'd never guess it from his personality. Despite his intimidating power, he's genuinely good-natured and approachable, which catches people off guard given his burly build.
Professionally, he handles a lot of responsibility. He's the Exoticism Officer and runs the Purification Rite Center, positions that clearly leverage his expertise. Beyond the job itself, he's known for being Genji's closest confidant—the guy Genji actually trusts, which speaks volumes about his character. Takao has unwavering faith in Genji and stands by him consistently, making him one of the more dependable figures around.
