Miyanoshita
A hot spring spirit from the Miyanoshita Hot Spring District who woke up after a long slumber. Unlike most spirits who lose their powers upon awakening, she's managed to retain some of her strength—enough to maintain a youthful appearance as a 16-year-old girl, though she can shift into her true form as a woman in her twenties when tapping into her full potential.
She's best known for her rivalry with Hakone, another awakened hot spring spirit. The two constantly butt heads, especially after Miyanoshita decided to build a massive hotel in Hakone Yumoto district specifically to steal away Hakone's prestige and influence. It's petty, but that's pretty much the core of their dynamic.
Later on, she develops genuine feelings for Touya and basically becomes his shadow—constantly showing up wherever he is just to be near him. Fans tend to note this as her character's turning point, shifting from pure antagonist to something more complicated.
