A holy sword with the legendary ability to sever diseases at their source. He's basically taken on the role of a Shinto priest, which fits his whole aesthetic—robes, demeanor, the works. The guy's pretty sheltered, honestly. He's spent so long cooped up in his shrine that he comes across as genuinely out of touch with the outside world. It's the kind of isolation that tends to make someone a bit naive about how things actually work beyond their immediate surroundings.
