Ginka is Isumi's great-grandmother and surprisingly formidable in a fight. She went after Hayate in volume 11, though she was really just acting out of concern for Isumi—she's deeply protective of her great-granddaughter. Despite being in her nineties, Ginka has the appearance of a young child, which she maintains by drinking blood. It's basically how she stays young and healthy.
