A former ninja who now serves as the head priest at a temple near the academy. He's tight with both the headmaster and the lunch lady, so Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbei are constantly running errands between all of them. The guy's basically become a connector for the whole group—part spiritual advisor, part informal messenger.
