Zeru leads Jolly Devil Six as their captain. He's a fire demon whose entire fighting style revolves around flame attacks—basically Fire Aura and a fire blast projectile. During his fight with Hiei, he lands what looks like a devastating stomach punch followed by a point-blank fire blast, seemingly finishing his opponent. The problem? Hiei's also a fire demon, so Zeru's flames don't do much. When Hiei reappears behind him, Zeru realizes too late that his fire-based arsenal is useless here. Hiei finishes him with the Black Dragon Hell Fire (the English dub calls it the Dragon of the Darkness Flame), a move as infamous as it is devastating.
Zeru ranks as Upper C class.
