Beyond just fighting skill though, he got into The Ninja's head—he crafted a tatami puppet, gave it Kokumo's face, and used it to torment The Ninja psychologically, forcing the puppet to accuse him of cowardice. It was a brutal psychological attack wrapped around the death of someone The Ninja cared about.
