Ling's got that whole "emotionally guarded" thing going on—and for good reason. Her rough past basically forced her to lock away any softness she had, replacing it with a cold, almost detached demeanor. She doesn't really feel much of anything, and she's genuinely clueless when it comes to reading emotions in herself or other people.
She's the quiet type. Composed. Weirdly decisive for someone her age. Even after enrolling at Deep Sea, she keeps everyone at arm's length—teachers, classmates, doesn't matter. She just doesn't get close to people.
Enter Xiaoshuai, who is basically the opposite: loud, in-your-face, tactless as they come. He drives Ling absolutely nuts. She can't stand him. What's kind of funny, though?
