Abbie is an artificial soldier created by the Mechanical Society, one of the Four Major Human Errors. She's got a pretty specific personality quirk: she despises anyone older than her and is basically obsessed with protecting anyone younger. Since she's been around for hundreds of years, that means she hates almost everyone and babies almost everyone else—which makes for an interesting dynamic.
