Majorika's a witch who gets caught by Doremi early on, and honestly, it doesn't go great for her at first. The moment Doremi figures out what she is and calls her out, Majorika gets cursed into a frog form—and that's pretty much where she's stuck until Doremi actually becomes a proper witch herself. So she doesn't really have a choice: she takes Doremi on as an apprentice, hoping to get her original shape back.
The problem is that Doremi's not exactly subtle about keeping secrets. Her friends catch on pretty quickly, and before Majorika knows it, she's gone from training one student to basically running a whole witch academy. She definitely didn't sign up for that, but by then it's too late.
