Mahiru's the artist behind JELEE—she designed the group's avatar and handles the visuals for their music videos. She's been drawing since childhood, though she went through a rough patch when friends bullied her over some mural work and she stopped entirely. She got back into it after Kano Yamanouchi saw her art and asked her to create visuals for her songs. That collaboration became JELEE, and they eventually brought on Kiui Watase and Mei Takanashi to round out the group.
