Ryuuuke Kido works in Taiyo Beer's wine department, where he's the most junior staffer and by far the most tech-savvy of the bunch. He didn't exactly plan to be there—when he first joined, he had zero wine knowledge and was actually hoping for a transfer to PR. But a mix-up in the new employee training department landed him in wine instead, and he never got out. Turns out it worked out though. Over time, he got genuinely into it, developing an appreciation for wine's complexity and subtlety.
