Julie starts out as the scattered, bubbly type who somehow manages to hold her own in Bakugan battles anyway. She's best known for being Dan's number one fan—to the point of it being pretty obvious—and for her mastery of direct attacks using Subterra. Her Guardian Bakugan, Hammer Gorem, pairs perfectly with her straightforward fighting style. She lives out in the isolated Bakugan Valley and comes across as a little vacant in conversation, but don't let that fool you.
Early on, she mostly showed up chatting with the Battle Brawlers in their online chat room, always eager to hear whether Dan had won his latest battles. As the series progressed, she visibly matured and grew taller, her fashion sense evolving with each season—from pink in the first arc to a bleached rainbow shirt during New Vestroia, then darker blues and greens once she relocated.
Main Attribute: Subterra
Guardian Bakugan: Hammer Gorem
When New Vestroia rolled around, Julie's feelings toward Dan had shifted—she was now dating Billy and getting postcards from him instead. She and Runo worked together at a diner and actually caught the boys trying to sneak into a portal without them, which didn't go over well. She helped Runo attempt a rescue mission to New Vestroia, though it went sideways and left Runo trapped between worlds.
By Gundalian Invaders, Julie had moved to Bayview with Dan and picked up a job as a cafe waitress. She'd also become a cheerleader at his school, supporting Jake Vallory's team. Though Gorem evolved into Quakix Gorem around this time—which led fans to hope she'd jump back into serious brawling—she never actually battled that season. Her role had shifted from protagonist to secondary character and eventually just a minor presence in the story.
