Pecorine's basically all about her next meal. She's got endless energy, an appetite to match, and an almost naive optimism that carries her through life. She'll befriend pretty much anyone without hesitation, and she genuinely respects food—won't waste a single bite of anything prepared. When she's not eating, she's traveling around hunting for the next exotic dish.
The turning point came after a bath in the woods, when a pair of con artists tricked her into chasing after them by claiming she needed to deliver medicine. They made off with her sword while she wasn't paying attention, and Pecorine, never one to suspect foul play, just followed along. It didn't take long before exhaustion and hunger caught up with her in the forest, and she nearly collapsed. That's where she ended up running into Kokkoro and Yuuki, which pretty much set the stage for everything that followed.
