Mihono Asakura is a middle school student at Minoseki Academy whose okatana is Kashuu Kiyomitsu. She's best known for her solid swordsmanship skills, though she's equally famous among her classmates for being easily distracted—something that regularly keeps her from performing at her absolute best.
Her personality is pretty straightforward: optimistic, reckless in the best way, and genuinely good at lifting the mood in any situation. That motto of hers, "determined to be reckless," sums her up nicely. During the representative selection matches at Minoseki, she placed third after losing to Kanami Etou, who beat her fair and square. The two of them made a promise to rematch down the line.
After the matches wrapped up, Mihono and some friends came to send off Kanami and Mai Yanase as they headed to Kamakura City. Mihono ended up watching everything go down at the venue itself.
