Ajit is the protagonist introduced in Bakugan: Armored Alliance and the first Aurelus Brawler to join the Awesome Brawlers. His main partner is the golden Bakugan Pharol, though he later bonds with Pincitaur in Geogan Rising after Pharol's disappearance.
Little is known about Ajit's early life beyond the fact he grew up in an orphanage and eventually ran away. A stray dog cornered him one day until Calloway Storm intervened, scaring it off with a glowing rose. Storm took Ajit under his wing and trained him in the ways of phantom thievery—a choice that would define much of his story.
While carrying out one of Storm's missions, Ajit stumbled through a Maze Gate and discovered Pharol and Auxillataur inside a temple. He had no idea what Bakugan were, but their golden appearance convinced him to keep them. When Tiko suddenly attacked, the two Bakugan defended him, and Ajit was transported back to the surface still holding them. Storm found him there and allowed him to keep his newfound partners.
Pharol officially introduced himself after that, and the two became immediate partners. Their first real test came when they crashed into a battle between Dan Kouzo and China Riot—Pharol took down Maxotaur in a single hit. The Awesome Brawlers and Benton Dusk's security team chased them off, leading to Ajit's first one-on-one with Dan, which Dan won using Drago's Baku-Gear.
Ajit attempted Storm's signature phantom thief mark next, but Magnus Black tracked him down. Pharol went invisible and held its own against Nillious until Magnus exposed him. Ajit conceded and gave Magnus a light bulb as his mark. He started hanging around the Awesome Brawlers after that, eventually getting roped into the Bakugan Battle League. He beat Dan in one match using Auxillator, but when they met in the finals, Dan came out on top again. Storm then crashed the tournament, stealing everyone's Bakugan until Dan and Ajit teamed up to stop him. Ajit's betrayal of his mentor helped him win, but Storm got his revenge by exposing Ajit's phantom thief past publicly, causing Ajit to vanish.
Determined to make amends, Ajit broke into Storm's hideout to return the stolen treasures to their rightful owners. Dan followed him and triggered a trap, so Ajit pushed him out to handle the rest alone. After returning everything, he faced Storm one final time and was nearly defeated until Dan and the others arrived. With their help, Ajit won for good. Kravitz took him in afterward, giving him the chance at a normal life he'd never had.
