Ming Fan serves as the head disciple of Qing Jing Peak and is basically the guy who made Luo Binghe's life hell in the sect. In the original Proud Immortal Demon's Way, his constant bullying pushed Luo Binghe into deep resentment—so much so that when everything fell apart, Luo Binghe threw him into an ant pit as payback. Not a great way to go.
In Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, Ming Fan doesn't exactly have a redemption arc at first. He's still pretty rough on Luo Binghe, but things shift once Shen Qingqiu starts openly favoring the kid. The dynamic changes after that—they don't become best friends or anything, but there's a grudging understanding between them that wasn't there before. It's less "I want you dead" and more "okay, fine, we're on the same side now."
