Natsuki is Fuuka's best friend and her emotional anchor throughout the game.
A ganguro girl with a deeply tanned complexion and orange-tinted hair styled in that classic gyaru fashion, Natsuki has a sharp, sometimes sadistic edge to her personality. She's genuinely good at reading people and knows exactly which buttons to push—a skill she initially used on Fuuka herself, targeting her insecurities out of her own emotional struggles.
When Fuuka called for help in Tartarus, Natsuki answered, only to find herself face-to-face with a Shadow. Fuuka summoned her Persona and shielded them both, cradling Natsuki inside a protective shell. Natsuki lost her memory of the incident afterward, but she apologized to Fuuka anyway, and the two became inseparable.
Having Natsuki around genuinely changes Fuuka—she becomes more confident, more willing to be herself. That's because the two aren't as different as they seem. Natsuki's parents barely acknowledge her existence, making her family situation mirror Fuuka's own neglect in a painful way. When Natsuki's father gets sick and money runs tight, her family has to move away. But even from a distance, she becomes the catalyst for Fuuka's growth, texting her that "no matter how far apart we may be, we will always be connected"—the push Fuuka needs to awaken a stronger Persona. She also tells her straight up: "If they don't accept you for who you are, then screw 'em."
Despite everything that sets them apart, Natsuki remains Fuuka's closest person in the game. She tells her plainly: "I like you, even if you don't like yourself."
