Kaito's driven by a strong sense of justice and can't stand corruption, but he's got a problem with authority—he'd rather handle things solo than ask for help, and he's quick to throw a punch when annoyed. He cares about his sister Miu more than anything, constantly worrying over her, though the two of them struggle to communicate since Kaito just isn't great at saying what he means.
In the alternate World, this protective instinct spirals into something darker. He becomes volatile and violent, hurting people around him in his desperation to keep Miu safe. The irony is that his obsession actually pushes her away—she resents being suffocated and rebels against him. It takes Dracmon stepping in to help him slow down and think before he acts.
If Takuma ever asks why he's so hung up on Miu, Kaito will unload a whole speech about how cute she is, how he loves her eyes, the way she eats, her slender arms—basically all the physical traits that make him feel protective of her. This freaks Takuma out completely, who immediately jumps to uncomfortable conclusions about the nature of Kaito's feelings. Kaito gets furious at the implication, insisting his affection is completely normal and brotherly, nothing more.
