When he evolved into Gyukimon, he became ferocious and hard to control, but he never lost that gentle core. He actually wanted to go back to who he was before, so he reached out to Hiro, leaning on what Hokuto had told him. With Hiro's help and support from Gammamon, he managed to de-evolve back into his original form, Ryudamon.
