Hiiragi is a violinist and teen idol whose music literally powers Kuromi's operations—his violin playing feeds dark energy into the Melody Key. Despite being wildly popular with girls, he's actually pretty indifferent to all the attention and often annoyed by it. He joined Kuromi's group mostly out of boredom, but ended up becoming the de facto leader anyway. He's comfortable lying and sneaking around to keep his double life under wraps, though he hangs out with the heroes without issue.
In ~Kurukuru Shuffle!~, My Melody's magic forces him to transform into Usamimi Kamen. He absolutely despises it. Being apathetic by nature, he puts in minimal effort whenever My Melody summons him, clearly resenting the whole arrangement that started because of his actions in the first season.
His mother calls him Kei-Kun.
