Arch became the Guardian of Elior Forest at some point before the forest's permafrost set in. When Pandora launched an assault on Elior Forest alongside Regulus Corneas and the Kurohebi, Arch was tasked with escorting Emilia to safety. The two got cornered by the Kurohebi, and Arch chose to sacrifice himself so she could escape.
