Leah lost her family in a shipwreck thirteen years ago. Jinryang found her and used his incense to ease the emotional pain she carried from the separation. He took her on as a shadow disciple and began training her, but the process involved a procedure that members of Persephone undergo to attune themselves to mana flow.
