Annie is a young girl from Wobbuffet Village who shows up in "Wobbu-Palooza!" She's best known for being the first victim of the festival crashers who attacked the village's Wobbuffet during the celebration.
When Ash and his friends found her, she was crying by the riverside next to her injured Wobbuffet. She explained that she'd been playing peacefully with her Pokémon when the crashers suddenly appeared and attacked it. Two other Wobbuffet helped her out by carrying her injured partner away to safety.
While Annie stayed behind in their care, Ash's group and the villagers rushed off to intercept the crashers at their next target—and then got word they'd already moved on to the village center.
