Lyn is a minor character who showed up in the episode "A Jolting Switcheroo!" She was hanging out at a Pokémon Center with her older sister Lena when Ash's group happened to be there too. Without anyone realizing it, her bag got mixed up with Bonnie's—which was basically a disaster since Lyn had been carrying a Pichu in hers while Bonnie's held Dedenne.
Once Lyn and Lena left the Center and hit the street, Lyn quickly figured out something was wrong: Dedenne was in her bag instead of Pichu. Panicked about her Pokémon, she ditched Lena (who was caught up chatting with a friend anyway) and took off to track Pichu down.
