Lacy is a minor character from the episode "The Problem with Paras." She's Cassandra's grandmother and runs an herbal shop where she grinds and sells potions and antidotes.
When Ash and his friends stop by to pick up supplies, Lacy tries to sell them snake root, claiming it cures insomnia and promotes hair growth on the nose and tongue—a pitch that gets her quickly shut down by her granddaughter. She does offer Ash some actual useful advice though, telling him that to control his Charmeleon, he'd need to earn its respect by collecting more Badges. By the end of the episode, she's found a Persian to serve as the shop's mascot, stepping in after Cassandra rejected Meowth for the role.
